Academy Awards Program
Held in May, our Academy Awards Night allows us to properly recognize and celebrate our academy students. The festivities are kicked off with a senior dinner where our cabinet leadership and graduating academy students are served. Following the dinner, we hold our awards ceremony. Students at all levels are recognized for academic accomplishments, community service, attendance, and leadership. Scholarships are also announced this evening. Departing seniors receive a class photo, academy medallion to be worn at graduation, and an academy tumbler as tokens of our appreciation for all they’ve done over the past 3 years. Students who graduate with a 3.0 or better are given a chord for graduation and recognized as Distinguished Graduates. Those who earn an "After School Assistant" certification are given a stole to be worn at graduation as Honored Graduates.
