Course Description:

 

Throughout any of the music classes offered, you will learn about music from different cultures all around the world while also gaining a mastery of your chosen instrument, or learning the fundamentals of several different ones.

About Me:

 

Hello Everyone!

I am your new music teacher, Mr. Ontiveros! I am looking forward to getting to know you all throughout the school year. This is my 4th year working in Santa Ana and my first year teaching at Century High School. I graduated from CSULB in 2019, student taught at SAUSD in 2020, and was hired at SAUSD in the fall of 2020. I have been a professional musician since 2013. I play a variety of musical genres such as: Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue, Norteno, Banda, Bachata, and Rock. My goal for this year is to lay the foundation for a brand new 21st century music program and build your love of music!
