It's been my pleasure to serve the students of Century for the last 32 years.  They have a lot of heart and determination to reach their ultimate goal of graduating.  Foreign language can also help them to go beyond graduation and interact in the changing world around us.  Please feel free to browse through my website or contact me if you need any further information.
 
Course Description
 
Spanish 1:  is a comprehensive first year beginning Spanish course designed for students with little or no previous knowledge of Spanish.  This course includes instruction and practice in all four basic languages skills of speaking, reading, writing, and listening with attention to selected aspects of the Hispanic culture.  While one of the goals of this course is to learn the basic grammatical structures of the Spanish language, the emphasis will not be on isolated structures but rather on integrating grammar into proficiency-oriented activities.
 
Spanish 2:  is a comprehensive second year intermediate Spanish course designed for students who have previously taken Spanish 1.  This course includes instruction and practice in all four basic language skills of speaking, reading, writing, and listening with attention to selected aspects of the Hispanic culture.  While one of the goals of this course is to learn the basic grammatical structures of the Spanish language, the emphasis will not be on isolated structures but rather on integrating grammar into proficiency-oriented activities.
 
222W:  is a comprehensive first year beginning Spanish course designed for students with a limited knowledge of reading and writing in their native tongue.  This course includes instruction and practice in all four basic languages skills of speaking, reading, writing, and listening with attention to selected literature and aspects of the Hispanic culture.  While one one of the goals of this course is to learn the basic grammatical structures of the Spanish language, the emphasis will not be on isolated structures but rather on integrating grammar into proficiency-oriented activities.
